The thoughts that are conjured up in me when I think of 
Miami,Puerto Rico and Bermud are of shores,sun,surfing and 
a pleasant lifestyle yet when I realize about what I�m thinking
I shudder.These locations are the three apexes of the infamous
Bermuda triangle.

     The Bermuda triangle is a known place of anomaly since 
the 15th century,the first records of odd occurrences in the area
can be found in Columbus�s log.In the log we can find entries 
in which the officers of the ship describe strange lights and erratic
behavior of the ships compass.When Columbus reached the shores
of Costa Rica he was met by the natives(Caribs and Arwaks), in
their folklore Columbus found mentioning of �Sky-Gods� and 
�Green-Fire Boats� that could fly and  travel under water.

     This is one of the first known encounters of man and the Bermuda 
triangle yet this phenomena continues to be with us till today-since
1945 there were reported a thousand(!!) vanishings.
As you can see the Bermuda triangle is still very active,the people 
who have encountered strange occurrences there are many and unwilling 
to go back there.

     The most common explanation for the Bermuda triangle is weather,
the area is known to be one with very erratic weather and this could
explain the vanishings of  ships and planes that just got lost and in the 
end either crashed or sunk to the bottom of the sea.
The problem is that not all occurrences can be explained by weather,
for example on a clear night  National Airlines flight number 727 was
coming in for a landing at Miami international Airport.
As a routine procedure the co-pilot contacted the tower at Miami and
asked them the exact time and set his cockpit clock to it.They were 
exactly on time,when they were getting ready for final approach the
Co-pilot noticed a strange green mist covering the plane,yet he ignored it
since it didn�t cause any problems.During this time a major drama was 
occurring on the ground flight 727 disappeared from all the radar scopes.
Emergency routine was initiated and everybody was expecting the
worse,while up in the air the passengers and crew ere getting ready 
to land.After exactly ten minutes of the disappearance flight 727
reappeared as suddenly as it has disappeared.The flight landed successfully
yet ten minutes late.At first the radar scopes were blamed for
malfunctioning yet they were tested and were found to be working perfectly.
The mystery deepened when a supervisor from the airport came
to the pilots and asked them why were they ten minutes late,the
pilots said they were right on time,still the supervisor claimed 
they were late so the two pilots decided to take him back to the
watch in the cockpit which was set to the towers time,when they
checked it they found it to be ten minutes late.The pilots thought 
that it must have been a tired scope operator that misread time
thus misleading the pilots,yet when they looked at their own watches 
they also were ten minutes late.The pilots couldn�t believe it so they 
went and checked with the passangers,the passengers watches too 
were all ten minutes late.This case is labeled as a �time loss� or 
�time warp�,many cases of this pattern occur in the area and weather 
is definitely not the explanation.

     The former case of �time warp� leads people to believe that the 
Bermuda triangle maybe some kind of a passage between dimensions.
Time is the fourth dimension and perhaps the area above the Bermuda
triangle maybe a passage in time,a break in the time and space continuum.
Another case that strengtenth this thesis is of a less fortunate pilot called
Carolyn Casico and her passenger.
Carolyn a licensed pilot did a charter flight to Turk Island(in the Bermuda triangle),
when she neared the island she was observed by many people and the
airport manager himself who tried to contact her on the radio yet she
wouldn�t answer,she kept circling over the island.At some point she
opened the microphone in order to talk with her passanger,this is
what was heard in the tower down below:
�I can�t understand it this should be Grand Turk but there is nothing
there.It�s the right place on the map the shape is right but this island
looks uninhabited -no buildings...roads...nothing�.
The airport manager listened in dismay and kept screaming in the
microphone that she is above Turk Island and that they can hear her
yet she wasn�t aware of his attempts.She did a few more circles
above the island and at the end decided to turn back.Carolyn and her
passenger were never seen or heard after the incident...
Did Carolyn see the island as it was years ago when it was uninhabited,
and if so why did she see it that way while people on the ground could 
see her plane and where is she today?

     In the early fall of 1881 the American schooner Allen Austin sailed
for Spanish and Portuguese ports,during the journey they encountered 
a ship,they tried signaling to it calling at it yet they received no answer.
When they got in for a closer look they saw that the ship was empty-not
a living soul on board.Since the captain saw that the other ship was intact 
and looked in good shape he decided to board the mysterious ship.The
ship was found to be well taken care of yet empty.
The captain decided to leave a crew on the ship to bring it in and get 
the prize for retrieving it,yet after the rest of the boarding team returned 
to the Allen Austin a very violent storm broke out and it lasted only half 
an hour.After the storm there was no sign of the mystery ship,the odd thing
is that there was no sign of a shipwreck either,not a piece of wood nothing,
the sea was clear as ever.
Cases in which ships are found floating around without any crew brought
on a new idea,pherhaps someone or something is collecting human 
specimen in the area of the Bermuda triangle.
As scary as this sounds the possibility exists,if there is only need for humans
the ships are left intact to float on and if the passengers aren�t kidnapped
why would they abandon a perfectly good ship during it�s journey?
But who would want to kidnap humans?Most people that believe in
this thesis say that it must be extraterrestrial beings,to me this seems
far fetched since there is no reason why they should concentrate on
the Bermuda triangle are.If they are extraterrestrial they should 
have no problem reaching any point on earth,yet if whatever 
snatches the people is bound to the Triangle area it brings up
the thesis that they come from within not from outside-but I�m getting
ahead of myslef,another fascinating case of a ship found without a
crew is the case of Westbury  Star.
The log of  his Majesty�s ship Harwhal,may 16 1767:
�For a fortnight we have been becalmed in the midst of this damnable
Sargasso Sea and the patience of men and officers alike is sorely tired.
We seemed to be clasped within the grasp of some strange force that 
will not let us go.Though we had not heard the whisper of a breeze for
days ,oddly there is the sound of wind around us.Strange lights,appearing 
as huge,glowing green puffs,were sighted on the modish last night�
The captain was interrupted by shouts from the topside,a ship was 
spotted and it was nearing them.
The ship was identified as the Webstury Star out of  Liverpool,they tried
to signal them yet no answer came back.On a closer look they saw that 
the ship was abandoned and the sails were trimmed neatly yet the ship 
was moving.The captain of Harwhal was shocked,he couldn�t 
understand how a ship with its sails folded could move yet his own 
ship with sails wide open wouldn�t move...
The Star continued sailing as the crew of Harwhal looked unbeleivingly.
As I said earlier,it is unlikely that extrateresstrials would kidnap so many
people from the same spot when they can actually help themselves to the
whole globe,Darwin said that there are two main species the ones that left
the sea and the others that stayed at sea.If that species has managed to 
develop at our rate or perhaps even higher their doorway to our world 
may be located in the area of the Bermuda triangle and that is why all 
their operations take place in that area.

     The case of Flight-19 is intriguing because it occurred to army combat
pilots who are very experienced and there was a very peculiar radio transmission 
recorded from that flight.On December 5 1945 a group of five Avengers took 
off for a routine training flight over the sea.After the first leg of the flight plan
all five aircrafts experienced instrument malfunctions simultaneously.After a 
few minutes contact was lost with this flight and the last words of the commander
of the flight that came over the microphone were:�Don�t come after us...they look like...�.
A search aircraft with a large crew was sent out after the five aircrafts
never to be heard of again.
The aircrafts and crew disappeared without trace until 1991,a research
vessel that was sweeping the area located with it�s strong sonar 5 
aircrafts lying on the seabed.A camera was lowered  and from the
pictures you could see that these were the lost crafts,they were 
identified by the insigna.Everyone thought that with this a 
mystery of 46 years is solved yet a few questions do remain
unanswered-why do 5 aircrafts crash one near the other,when a 
plane crashes into sea it breaks into pieces,why are they almost intact,
how do 5 veteran fighter pilots get lost 5Km off-shore and most 
importantly where are the bodies or skeletons?

The Bermuda Triangle exists,it�s the area between Miami,Bermuda 
and Puerto Rico, yet what lies behind that triangle is unknow.What 
swallows and spits out from time to time huge ships and airplanes 
is unknown.Where are the people that have simply vanished off 
ships and aircrafts,people who have families,jobs,housed and a 
life-unknown.The only known fact is that almost in all occurrences
in the are the color green appears,as mist puffs or simply the
color of the air-what is this green?

There are as many as a hundred researches going on in the area
yet none have any conclusive answers to give us.  Whether it be a
doorway to another world or a break in time and space continuum
it is there and it is taking people into it�s midst and not returning
them to us- that�s a fact.
